The Company is a public limited company incorporated in England & Wales with registration number 9357256. The Company was established to invest in or acquire companies engaged in the cleantech building materials sector.
The Company acquired Diamond Wood and its subsidiaries through a share for share exchange transaction under which the Company now holds 98.74% per cent of the issued share capital of Diamond Wood. The Company is the holding company of the Group which, through its subsidiary Diamond Wood, holds an exclusive licence for the patented Accoya® Wood manufacturing process in the Chinese market and has commercial arrangements to produce and sell Accoya® Wood in the ASEAN markets.
The Group’s current business is the import and distribution of Accoya® Wood in the China and ASEAN markets. Accoya® Wood is a high-performance material that is used by architects and manufacturers to replace endangered tropical hardwoods and carbon-intensive materials – like steel, aluminum, and specialty plastics. China and other Asian governments are increasingly requiring climate-tech solutions, like Accoya® Wood, for newly built cities and suburbs, as hundreds of millions of their citizens move from poorer rural areas in search of a better life.
It is anticipated that the first supply of China-produced Accoya® will be available for regional wholesalers and manufacturers of wood products in 2026. The factory will initially produce 40,000 m3 of Accoya® Wood, moving swiftly to 160,000 m3. Sufficient land has been reserved to support up to 480,000 m3 of annual production.
Accoya®-branded wooden products – such as windows, doors, decking and siding – are enjoying widespread acceptance in the European and US markets. Since announcing its new factory build out, the Group has been receiving enquiries for China-produced Accoya® Wood from around the world.
